• Core Archaeological Record Index - Online database of information on archaeology and architecture in Wales, incorporating the Sites and Monuments Record and scheduled monument database.
• English Monument Class Descriptions - English Heritage provides a general description for each type of historic building, site or monument, with distribution, examples and bibliography. Some photographs.
• Environment and Heritage Service - Built Heritage - Maintains the Northern Ireland Sites and Monuments Record with information on 15,000 sites. Searchable online database.
• Historic Wreck Sites - Annual Report of the Advisory Committee 1996 with appendix: list of current designated wreck sites. Hosted by St Andrew's University.

• North West Wetlands Survey - An English Heritage funded project by Lancaster University Archaeological Unit covering Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Shropshire.
• Sedgeford Historical and Archaeological Research Project - A multi-period, multi-disciplinary research project on a typical Norfolk parish. Research areas, illustrated reports, taught courses, supervisory team.
• Shapwick, Somerset - Intensive study of a parish aiming to discover when the English village developed. Joint project between Professor Mick Aston of Bristol University and King Alfred's College, Winchester, whose students produced this irreverent but informative site.
• Sites and Monuments Records (England) - Each county council maintains a Sites and Monuments Record (SMR), covering archaeological monuments, buildings and sites. SMR addresses are listed here by English Heritage.
• South Cadbury Environs Project - Bristol University's study of settlement and landscape history from Mesolithic to Early Medieval. Aims, staff, geophysical survey, surface sampling, excavations, fieldwork opportunities, references.
• Southern Quantocks Archaeological Survey - King Alfred's College, Winchester, outlines the project for its survey of the 100 or so cropmark sites in the area: background, methodology, maps and photographs. Details of the team and excavation diary.

• The Hillfigure Homepage - Mark Hows collates information about figures cut in chalk and quartz on hills throughout Britain. Includes maps, images and details of deteriorating figures.
• Thetford Forest Surface Collection Survey - Amateur archaeologist Paul Brooker reports on his surveys of surface finds in an East Anglian pine forest. Includes studies of lithics and manure scatter, and photographs of flints and other finds.
